As CEO of DBJ Consulting, Daphne Bryson Jackson shares her creativity and passion for Coaching, Consulting, and providing Strategic Advisory services to companies and organizations looking to develop their people into high-functioning leaders and to improving team dynamics while having a positive impact on organizational effectiveness and financial results.

​Daphne provides engaging and high-energy workshop style trainings, one-on-one and group coaching and strategy driven white board brainstorming sessions. She also leads conversations focused on addressing difficult and sensitive issues with confidentiality and an authentic and open style that affords participants a safe space to share their perspectives and concerns.  As a content creator, she has created powerful training sessions and workshops on Trust in the Workplace and is accreditated as a certified Facilitator of the Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team model.

Previously Daphne was Principal of GovLink, Inc. a Government Relations and Lobbying Consulting firm. For over 2 decades, Daphne provided guidance in business development, brand management and communications to clients who provide goods and services to large urban cities and counties.  

​

In 2015, Daphne was one of the founding members of WICERS (Women in Construction, Engineering and Related Services), an annual conference focused on highlighting issues and challenges facing women working in non-traditional industries. The conference has brought together entrepreneurs, government leaders and professionals from all levels to engage in workshops and panel discussions focused on career and technical development as well as addressing employment and business development opportunities.

In December 2021, Daphne was elected to the Board of Directors for Preferred Apartment Communities, Inc. (PAC) which is real estate investment trust engaged in primarily the ownership and operation of Class A multifamily properties, with select investments in grocery anchored shopping centers.  In this role, she will serve on the Board’s Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees.

Daphne is a Certified DiSC Workplace Facilitator (Wiley) and is a 1985 graduate of Stephens College in Columbia, MO with a BA in Business Administration. She also holds certificates from Case Western University in Conversations that Inspire: Coaching, Learning and Leadership Change and Georgia Institute of Technology’s International Economic Development Council in Real Estate Development and Reuse. Previously, Daphne was a member of the Board of Directors of IGNITE National, an organization that identifies and trains young women to run for elected office, manage campaigns and staff a government office and is currently a member of WTS Atlanta, COMTO and AMAC.

Daphne lives in Atlanta, GA and enjoys traveling, attending sporting events and being a foodie who loves great steaks and thin crust pepperoni pizza. She is the mother to Bryson who is a college student studying Political Science.
